ABOUT ASLI GURSEL

Gursel Consultancy was founded by Asli Gursel who was born into a family of hoteliers in Istanbul, Turkey. With a passion for travel, meeting new people and working in the industry for nearly 10 years, she decided to start her own company in London.

After completing her studies, she has been a part of the hospitality world working in the hotel industry where she has gained experience working for hotels based in the United Kingdom, USA, Switzerland, France and Turkey.

She received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Hospitality Management from Glion Institute of Higher Education, Bulle, Switzerland, graduating in 2010. After gaining some industry knowledge, she decided to attend Cornell University, School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca New York where she received a degree in Master of Management in Hospitality in 2013.  Her language abilities include fluency and knowledge of English, Turkish, French and Spanish.

Due to her international career, she has ensured that she built up a great network of connections in the European, American, Middle Eastern and Turkish markets. She has worked in multiple well known 4 and 5 star properties around the world which helped her establish this international network.

She continuously increases her market knowledge and connections by attending all relevant tradeshows, fairs and events. She is able to provide specialized expertise that can be tailored to meet her target market segment’s exact requirements.
